Printable Ruler: Metric & Imperial

Prepare a full-size metric, imperial or combination ruler and verify the printed calibration square before use.

Calculate the layout, check the diagram, then print the result for the shop or jobsite.

How it works

Print at 100% scale (no “fit to page”). Longer rulers tile automatically across multiple pages with crop marks - trim and butt the edges together. Every page includes a 10 mm calibration square so you can verify your printer output before trusting the scale.

Practical check: compare the 0-to-100 mm interval with a trusted ruler after assembly. Check across a page join as well as within one page before measuring a workpiece.

Limitations

Home printers, paper moisture, trimming and taped joins can introduce scale error. This is a transfer and reference aid, not a certified measuring instrument.
