Client-side processing

The tools on ToolHuts run in your browser. Numbers you type in, images or files you upload, and the diagrams or PDFs generated from them are processed on your device using JavaScript and are not uploaded to our servers unless a specific tool explicitly says otherwise. Where a tool accepts a file (for example, Print to Scale), that file is read directly by your browser and never leaves your device.

What we do collect

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to measure aggregate visits and site performance. We also send anonymous tool-usage events, such as whether a PDF was downloaded, to Vercel. These services do not receive calculator values, filenames or file contents from ToolHuts.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you choose “Accept analytics”. It measures page visits and may use cookies or similar browser storage. If you decline, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. You can change your choice below at any time. ToolHuts uses measurement ID G-41RRQBB8ZJ.

Advertising

ToolHuts is free to use and may be supported by display advertising in the future. If and when an advertising network (such as Google AdSense) is enabled, that network may set cookies or use similar technology to serve relevant ads, subject to its own privacy policy and any consent controls required in your region. This page will be updated with specifics once a network is active.

Cookies and local storage

ToolHuts does not require analytics cookies for its tools to function. We store your analytics choice in your browser so we can respect it on later visits. Some tools may also use local storage to remember your last-used units or settings on that device; ToolHuts does not transmit those saved tool settings.
