Practical tools for measured work
Drill Hole Template Generator
Lay out custom rows of drill holes with exact spacing and download a printable template.
Calculate the layout, check the diagram, then print the result for the shop or jobsite.
How it works
Set the number of rows/columns, spacing between hole centers, and how far the first hole sits from each edge. Great for cabinet hardware, shelf pins, or any custom hole layout - print at 100% and center-punch through the crosshairs.
Worked example: four columns at 32 mm centers span 96 mm from the first center to the last. Edge offsets locate the first center, not the edge of the drilled hole.
Before drilling
Verify the calibration square and two distant center marks before transferring the full pattern. Paper can stretch with moisture or printer scaling, and the template does not compensate for drill wander, bit diameter or hardware tolerance.
