Calculateur de Placement d'Enceintes Stéréo

Tracez un triangle stéréo centré à partir des dimensions de la pièce, de l'écart des enceintes et de la position d'écoute.

Listener from front wall3.41m

The 38% field is measured forward from the rear wall. The speaker pair is centred and capped at 80% of room width to leave side-wall clearance.

Fonctionnement

How to use it: enter the room and front speaker offset. Adjust the listening position from the rear wall; 38% is a starting point, not a rule.

Method. The calculator targets a 60-degree stereo angle, then limits separation where the room is too narrow.

Example. With a 4.2 by 5.5 m room and a seat 38% from the rear, the listener is 3.41 m from the front wall.

Résultat principal: Speaker separation: 3.36 m.

Avant d’utiliser le résultat

  • Measure from the datum or reference edge described by this tool, and do not mix inside, outside and centerline dimensions.
  • Keep inputs in the displayed units and preserve more precision than the final cutting or purchasing tolerance requires.
  • When the result is close to a limit, verify it with a test piece, field measurement, manufacturer drawing or qualified project professional.

Limites

This is geometric placement, not acoustic optimisation. Furniture, doors, speaker directivity, boundary gain and measured bass response may justify asymmetric or non-equilateral positions.

Questions fréquentes

Must the speakers form an exact equilateral triangle?

No. A 60-degree included angle is a useful stereo baseline, then toe-in and spacing should be verified by listening and measurement.
