Estimation de Ligne de Vue & Gradins de Salle

Estimez les hauteurs de rangée nécessaires pour que chaque ligne de vue dépasse une hauteur de tête supposée dans la rangée précédente.

Largest single rise0.56m
Row 1 floor at 3.0 m0.00m
Row 2 floor at 4.1 m0.49m
Row 3 floor at 5.2 m1.04m

Each row is raised only enough for its eye-to-screen-bottom line to clear the previous row's assumed head height plus the entered margin.

Fonctionnement

What this estimates: enter screen-bottom height, eye position, row spacing and a conservative head-plus-clearance allowance. The result is sightline geometry, not a structural platform design.

Method. Similar triangles solve the required eye height for each rear row, recursively using the raised row in front.

Example. Raising one row changes the obstruction for the next, so a three-row design cannot safely multiply one generic riser height.

Avant d’utiliser le résultat

  • Measure from the datum or reference edge described by this tool, and do not mix inside, outside and centerline dimensions.
  • Keep inputs in the displayed units and preserve more precision than the final cutting or purchasing tolerance requires.
  • When the result is close to a limit, verify it with a test piece, field measurement, manufacturer drawing or qualified project professional.

Limites

This is a sightline model, not structural or code design. Recliners, varied occupant heights, aisle steps, guardrails, ceiling clearance, accessibility, joists, loads and local building/fire codes require qualified design and approval.

Questions fréquentes

Can the screen be raised to reduce the riser?

Often, but excessive screen height can create uncomfortable vertical viewing angles. Evaluate both sightlines and neck comfort.
