Ploegkosten per Dag & Stukloon Uitsplitsing Calculator
Bereken de gemengde dagelijkse arbeidskosten van een ploeg met verschillende functies en vergelijk deze met de verwachte stukloonomzet voor die dag.
Whatever the job is paid on - squares, linear feet, fixtures, etc.
A positive margin means the piece-rate job pays more than this crew's hourly cost for the entered production rate - a negative margin means this crew would earn more on straight hourly work at their blended rate.
How it works
How to use it: enter your crew's mix of roles and hourly rates, then the job's expected daily production and the piece rate paid per unit - squares of roofing, linear feet of fence, fixtures installed, whatever the job is actually priced on. This tells you whether a piece-rate job is worth more or less than running the same crew on straight hourly pay.
Calculation. Crew cost per day = Σ(role count × role rate) × hours per day. Piece-rate revenue per day = units produced × rate per unit. Margin = piece-rate revenue − crew cost. Effective $/hr = piece-rate revenue ÷ (crew size × hours) - directly comparable to the blended hourly crew rate.

Before using the result
- Measure from the datum or reference edge described by this tool, and do not mix inside, outside and centerline dimensions.
- Keep inputs in the displayed units and preserve more precision than the final cutting or purchasing tolerance requires.
- When the result is close to a limit, verify it with a test piece, field measurement, manufacturer drawing or qualified project professional.
Limitations
This compares crew labor cost against piece-rate revenue only - it doesn't include material, equipment, overhead or profit margin on top; add those separately (see the loaded labor rate calculator for a full cost-stack breakdown of a single role).
Frequently asked questions
What if my crew has more than three roles?
Combine similar rates into the closest category (foreman/journeyman/laborer), or run the tool twice and add the two daily crew costs together for a combined total.
